Baby Bolin: 32 weeks

Baby Jeffrey's movements will peak this week. From now on they will change in quantity and quality. Remember to do your Fetal Kick Counts.

Most of the wrinkles are disappearing from your baby's face, and there may be a lot of hair on his head!

He has tiny toenails now, and his fingernails have grown in, too.

The weight gain has been fairly incredible recently. Baby Jeffrey has put on about 2 pounds of weight, mostly fat and muscle tissue, since last month, bringing the total to about 4 pounds, and measurements about 15.8 inches!

This Week's Activity:

Start lining up helpers. Your friends and family will want to pitch in after your baby's born, but many new moms are too overwhelmed to direct household help.

How to prepare now:

• If anyone offers to help during the newborn weeks, write down their name and number.
• Make sure all your cleaning supplies are in one accessible area.
• Ask a friend or neighbor to walk your dog or feed your pets.
• Create a master grocery list so you can hand it off to a friend.
• Write down the instructions for any complicated appliances (the dishwasher or washing machine, for instance).
• Ask a neighbor to take out your garbage.
